Beetroot Yoghurt Dip and Pita Bread

Looking for a yummy and nutritious snack to get you through the day? Then look no further! This will leave you feeling full and your'e also getting in some key nutrients such as calcium, fibre and folate!



  • 1/2 small beetroot peeled and grated

  • 100g plain yoghurt

  • 1 piece wholemeal pita bread cut into triangles

  • pinch of cumin

  • lemon juice to taste

  • salt to taste

  • olive oil spray


  • Preheat oven to 200 degrees and place pita bread triangles on a lined baking tray , spray with olive oil and cook for 5 minutes on one side and 5 minutes on the other

  • Place beetroot, yoghurt, cumin and lemon juice into a bowl and mix until combined
