About Dr Georgie Meehan- Physiotherapist

Georgie is a Physiotherapist with a strong interest in strength and exercise-based approaches to managing a wide range of conditions. With a background as a medical practitioner across several Melbourne hospitals, she brings a unique and holistic understanding of the human body and its connection to musculoskeletal health.

Georgie also holds an advanced-level qualification in strength training and enjoys integrating this knowledge into her clinical care. She has a special interest in using strength training to improve bone density and function in people with osteoporosis, as well as to reduce pain and enhance function in those with osteoarthritis.

Georgie also has a particular interest in treating runners. As a former national-level runner, Georgie understands firsthand the frustrations of injury. She has a passion for helping runners of all levels stay strong, injury-free, and performing at their best — whether on the track, road, or trail.

Outside the clinic, you’ll find likely find Georgie at a Geelong Cats game, running, boxing, or training in the gym — and always on the lookout for great Japanese food (and anything chocolate-related!).
